Update 13/11/2024: The StrikeOut Case Hearing has been cancelled at short notice and is to be rescheduled. More details to follow in the future.
StrikeOut Case Hearing 10:00am 14 Nov 24
After 2 years of delays and obfuscations, the Green Party has attempted to strike out my
claim in the courts. A hearing is set for 10:00am on Thursday 14 Nov 2024.
As the former Co-Chair of Green Party Women I have an ongoing legal case against GPEW
for discrimination on the basis of sex and Gender Critical beliefs. I joined the Green Party in
2014 to mobilise political consensus to fight Climate change.
I devoted 10 years to a political party that expelled me after whistleblowing on serious
safeguarding breaches & for standing up for Women’s sex-based rights within the party.
Despite winning my appeal against my original expulsion, in July 2024 I was again expelled
from the Party, without due process or right of reply.
A hearing has been scheduled for Thursday 14 November 2024 at 10:00am, to address an
application to strike out my claim Dawn Furness Vs Carla Denyer and Adrian Ramsay in their
capacity as co-leaders of the Green Party of England and Wales. This hearing will be a
crucial opportunity to argue against the strike-out and to present the case’s merits before the
court. I am actively preparing a defence and am committed to ensuring that every relevant
point is clearly presented.
I understand how important this case is to all who have supported it, and appreciate your
ongoing encouragement and interest. I will keep you updated as the hearing approaches
and will share any outcomes and next steps as soon as they are available.
Please support my crowdfunder. I am hoping supporters will gather outside the court before commencement of the hearing.
