Elections for party leaders, Green Party Executive (GPEx) and other committees
Greens in Exile believe that one of the important ways that party members can help us is by voting for good candidates in internal Green Party elections. There are regular internal Green Party elections for:
- Party leaders
- Green Party Executive Committee (GPEx)
- Standing Orders Committee (SOC)
- Equality and Diversity Committee
Party leaders
Elections for Green Party leaders in England normally take place every two years – far more often than in other parties – and every party member has a vote.
Green Party Executive Committee (GPEx)
An annual ballot of all GPEW members normally elects half the committee one year and the other half of the committee the following year.
